Robert Copeland Returns with "That Jesus Feelin'" June 26
Robert Copeland loves Jesus with all of his heart, and the joy he feels when he comes into His presence is so infectious that he wants to share it. His new CD, That Jesus Feelin' (which releases on June 26) was specifically crafted so he could share overflowing Jesus joy with the world.
"There was a time when you would mention Jesus and people would get excited", says Copeland. "I think we have become so preoccupied with everything else that we are missing out on who Jesus really is.
Life has its share of distractions, and if you allow it, it will pull you in various directions, but definitely out of focus. Jesus, the magnificent and mighty, stands there waiting for us to come back and really get to know Him. He proves himself to be our Savior and our friend. He is so much more. At every turn in life, Jesus reveals himself in character to be whatever we need Him to be.
The first single from this record is "Jesus, You're All I Need". I am so excited that I get to share this song with the powerful singer Jemila Richardson (and she does some of her good singing here too), and I pray that Jesus is magnified and that our efforts are blessed."
Copeland proved he had staying power with the release of his debut project No Distance. The disc featured the title cut that hit the top 100 on the BDS radio chart and was followed with the churchy "Come By Here."
EMG Music Group VP Garland Miche Waller said, "Robert Copeland is a consummate singer and brings the flavor of quartet and contemporary to make an indelible imprint in the sand. That Jesus Feelin is going to reach a wide audience and get people all over to feel Jesus in ways they never have felt Him before."
