Will I Be Fat in Heaven? J.John Asks in His New Book

Evangelist J.John has released a brand-new book, Will I Be Fat in Heaven? And Other Curious Questions. Using his much-loved sense of humor to draw people into a deeper understanding of God, J.John answers 38 important, yet varied, questions that people often have about God, the Bible, the world, and everything in-between.

With his trademark style of compelling and insightful writing, J.John explains the complex theological doctrine of the Trinity in one chapter, while later on in the book he tackles sensitive and pastoral questions around whether babies go to heaven when they die. As for the book's title, J.John says, "I've often pondered what we're going to look like in heaven. Will we be overweight? What will we look like? If heaven is perfect, will we have the 'perfect' body? And if we have the perfect body, will I recognize the people I knew on earth?

Most of the questions in the book I have been asked at some point in my four decades of ministry. Even the questions that don't appear that serious, I always feel that when someone asks a question, it is serious for that person and so it needs to be taken seriously.

Throughout the book, J.John tackles all types of questions and gives a serious and thought- provoking response to each one. The combination of light-hearted humor and serious theological insight is what makes this book unique and compelling to people from all walks of life.

Here are what many others are saying about the new book. Worship leader Matt Redman writes, "This book is classic J.John - a cheeky title, searching questions, and a deep passion to recommend the Christian faith to any who are seeking."

Mike Pilavachi, founder of Soul Survivor, comments, "This book is J.John at his best. Clear, well-reasoned, honest and compelling. He examines all the difficult questions we might have about the Christian faith, and with both kindness and conviction gives thoughtful and helpful responses. A must-read for thoughtful believers and genuine seekers."
