We await the release of the Samsung Galaxy S5 Alpha. This is a premium phone that comes with very good specs and a high resolution screen. It is, however, not enough to make Samsung to stand out in the smartphone market. There are a lot of manufacturers close behind to ensure that they stay ahead in the market.

We must admit that this is not the best smartphone from Samsung. Unlike the HTC's One M8 or Apple's iPhone 5S, the Samsung Galaxy S5 Alpha feels very cheap in that its body is made of plastic. The LG G3 also beats Samsung Alpha in terms of screen resolution, while the G3 offers a QHD display; S5 Alpha offers full HD display. Samsung is trying to fit in the market and is already preparing the Samsung Galaxy Alpha which covers the important points; a larger screen or screen resolution and premium design chassis.

The Galaxy Alpha was essentially  meant to be an improvement of the Galaxy S5, and it may come in two variants; the Samsung Galaxy S5 Alpha and the Galaxy S5 F. Nothing has been confirmed yet by Samsung as anything could change before it is unveiled in the market. The release date of the Galaxy Prime was initially set in mid-June. July as well has ended and it is rumored that we should also not expect it in August. Many anticipate that it will be released in September though there is no official announcement to that. A worldwide release of the phone is quite uncertain as it is said that Samsung has had a lot of difficulties building this phone hence it is unlikely that there is mass production of the phone. It has also been reported that Samsung experienced difficulties producing the metal cases which adds to the reason that only a small quantity of the phones will be released.

There is no official announcement on the release yet, but it is speculated that by the end of this year, in one way or another, it will be released.
