Acclaimed children's worship artist and ministry leader Yancy is closing out 2025 with a heartfelt reflection on partnership, perseverance, and the generational fruit of a life devoted to helping families "Make Jesus Loud."
As she wraps up another year of ministry, Yancy expressed deep gratitude for churches, camps, ministries, and organizations that partnered with her throughout the year-whether through live events or by using and supporting the music and resources she creates.
"I am so grateful for people like you that help me MAKE JESUS LOUD," Yancy shared, noting that these partnerships continue to fuel her calling and expand the reach of children's worship around the world.
In recent years, Yancy has experienced what she describes as a "sweet season" of encountering adults who once listened to her music as children-now returning with families of their own. At a recent concert, she met one such listener who attended with her own baby, marking the beginning of what Yancy joyfully calls a "second-generation Yancy fan."
Years earlier, during a pivotal season of discernment, Yancy led worship at the woman's camp-an experience that confirmed her calling to serve kids and families. Moments like these, she says, have become tangible reminders of God's faithfulness.
Another children's ministry leader in attendance echoed that sentiment, sharing her joy in watching "now grown up" adults reminisce about the impact Yancy's music had on them during their childhood. Yancy underscored the reminder at the heart of her ministry: kids grow up.
Recently, someone prayed that Yancy would see the fruit of her labor-and she says that prayer was answered in powerful ways. "Seeds are planted...and they aren't forgotten," she reflected. "We don't always see them bloom, but that doesn't make the harvest any less."
Comparing her work to planting flowers even when a move is imminent, Yancy noted that much of her impact happens unseen-through car rides, homes, classrooms, and moments beyond metrics and data. Though much of her work is done quietly and independently, she believes the ripples of faithfulness are vast.
"If you don't give up and you don't quit," she shared, "you realize the ripples are as big and vast as the ocean itself."
As she looks ahead, Yancy says she will never forget the "Yancy music grand babies" now growing up with her songs, praying that the cycle of faith, worship, and praise continues for generations to come.
"May the cycle keep repeating itself," she said, "until every generation of my lifetime and beyond makes Jesus loud."
