Acclaimed gospel artist and pastor Pastor Mike Jr. is set to host Living the Dream: A Gospel Music Tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., a powerful one-hour television special celebrating the enduring legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. through the timeless sound of gospel music.
Produced by Central City Productions in partnership with the Stellar Network, the special brings together historic and rare performances from some of gospel music's most influential voices. Featured artists include Aretha Franklin, Tramaine Hawkins, Andraé Crouch, and Commissioned, among others.
Living the Dream reflects on Dr. King's message of faith, hope, justice, and unity-values deeply rooted in gospel music and still urgently relevant today. Through moving performances and thoughtful presentation, the program invites viewers to remember the spiritual foundations of the civil rights movement while celebrating the role gospel music continues to play in inspiring change.
The television special will air nationwide from January 17 through February 1, 2026, with a featured broadcast on Bounce TV on January 18 at 1:00 p.m. ET. Additional airings will be announced across participating networks and platforms.
