Christian folk‑rock band We The Kingdom are set to release their new project Dear Jesus on January 30, 2026 via Capitol Christian Music Group and Sparrow Records, marking one of the most anticipated drops of early 2026 for the contemporary Christian music scene.

Dear Jesus is described as an extended play (EP) featuring seven tracks that showcase the band's signature blend of heartfelt worship and acoustic‑driven folk sound. The project was recorded between 2023 and 2025 and reflects themes of surrender, belonging, renewal, and brokenness turned into hope - hallmarks of the group's songwriting since their 2018 debut.

The title track "Dear Jesus," released as a promotional single in November 2025, was inspired by a real conversation with a man whose life was transformed through faith, with the band imagining his story as a personal letter to Christ. Other promotional tracks such as "Don't Let the Darkness" and "Easy" have given listeners a preview of the emotional and spiritual depth woven through the EP.

According to press materials and interviews, Dear Jesus finds the group returning to the core of their ministry‑focused artistry, opting for honest, unfiltered expression rather than thematic formula. The band members have shared that this project grew out of seasons of change and reflection, aiming to make music that connects deeply with listeners' spiritual journeys.

Dear Jesus will be available on CD, vinyl, digital download, and streaming platforms starting January 30, and fans can still pre‑order the EP along with special edition formats.

Expect Dear Jesus to resonate with both longtime followers of We The Kingdom and new listeners alike, offering a blend of raw honesty and uplifting worship that continues to define the band's impact on Christian music.
