Southern Gospel veterans The Gaither Vocal Band are launching their "Then Came the Morning" Spring Tour for 2026, bringing rich harmonies and faith‑filled music to audiences across the United States from February through June. The tour begins next week, just as the group celebrates the continued impact of their latest recording and legacy in gospel music.

The tour's first performances are scheduled in Florida, with shows at The Tabernacle Church in Sarasota on February 12, followed by stops in Umatilla, Lakeland, and Panama City. The itinerary spans more than a dozen cities, including key dates in Louisiana, Texas, Virginia, Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana. Notable upcoming performances include a show in Branson, Missouri, on March 4 and a June stop at Northview Church in Carmel, Indiana on June 5.

Founded in the early 1980s by legendary songwriter and performer Bill Gaither, the Gaither Vocal Band has been a staple of Southern Gospel music for more than four decades. Known for hits like "Because He Lives" and "He Touched Me," the group has won multiple Grammy and Dove Awards and has influenced gospel and worship music globally.

The 2026 tour features a lineup of accomplished vocalists alongside Bill Gaither, including longtime member Wes Hampton, Adam Crabb, Todd Suttles, Reggie Smith, and other featured performers like Ladye Love Smith, Gene McDonald, and Chris Blue. Each show combines powerful harmonies with messages of hope, faith, and redemption, reflecting the band's commitment to sharing the Gospel through music.

Performances are being held in a range of locations, from church venues to performing arts centers, offering both longtime fans and new listeners opportunities to worship and celebrate together. With a strong spring lineup, the Then Came the Morning Tour continues a long tradition of live gospel music ministry that has characterized the Gaither Vocal Band's career.
