The former Jersey Shore star revealed in a candid TikTok video that she has been diagnosed with stage 1 cervical cancer following a recent cone biopsy. "Obviously not the news that I was hoping for," Snooki said. "But also not the worst news, just because they caught it so early. Thank freaking God."
Polizzi explained that she had been struggling with abnormal Pap smear results for the past three to four years. She admitted that fear and discomfort led her to delay some follow-up appointments - something she now regrets.
"I'm 38 years old... and now look at me," she said. "It's stage 1 and it's curable."
Snooki is scheduled to undergo a PET scan to determine whether the cancer has spread. Depending on those results, she said she will likely proceed with a hysterectomy, though she hopes to preserve her ovaries.
