Worship artist TAYA shared a heartfelt reflection following one of the final nights of her "Come Into The Light" Tour, held January 29 in Sydney-a city she called home for more than a decade.
The Australian singer-songwriter described the evening as deeply personal, noting that returning to Sydney after four years abroad brought back a flood of memories connected to friendships, church life and ministry experiences formed during her years serving local congregations.
"Coffee's shared, meals had, car rides taken, all whilst serving our local churches together," she wrote, recalling the many relationships that shaped her journey.
TAYA expressed gratitude for both longtime friends and new fans who attended the worship gathering, many of whom reportedly lined up around the block before the event began. The turnout, she said, was a humbling reminder of God's faithfulness throughout her ministry.
After spending several years living overseas, the singer said she returned to Australia "banking on one thing-God's faithfulness," explaining that the tour nights became a living testimony of that truth.
"These nights were that testimony set to melody," she shared, adding that her prayer is that attendees left with renewed confidence in Christ. "Jesus is who He says He is and He does not, cannot and will not fail."
The tour also featured support from worship collective One Body Worship, whom TAYA praised for their passion for God's presence and their leadership in guiding audiences into worship.
TAYA also partnered with Compassion Australia for the tour, highlighting the organization's mission to help release children from poverty. She noted the special significance of collaborating with longtime ministry friend Chelsea LaFlower during the outreach effort.
Known internationally for her powerful vocals with Hillsong UNITED on songs such as "Oceans (Where Feet May Fail)," TAYA has continued to build a solo ministry centered on worship, testimony and global missions.
Reflecting on the Sydney concert, she thanked the many friends and supporters who attended, expressing deep gratitude for the encouragement she has received throughout her journey.
"My heart is a puddle of overflowing gratitude," she wrote.
The "Come Into The Light" Tour marks another milestone in TAYA's growing global ministry as she continues to lead worship and share messages of faith, hope and God's enduring faithfulness with audiences around the world.
