Sadie Robertson Huff is sharing a deeply emotional and faith-filled testimony after a terrifying moment in which her infant daughter stopped breathing during a choking incident.

The Duck Dynasty star revealed on April 11 that her nearly 9-month-old daughter, Kit Carroway Huff, suddenly began choking while seated in her high chair at home. What began as a normal moment quickly escalated into a life-threatening emergency.

Calling it a "vulnerable post," Robertson Huff said she chose to share the experience despite the trauma in hopes of raising awareness and helping other parents be prepared for similar situations.

"Within seconds, you could tell the severity of the situation," she explained. "My mom pulled her from the high chair and placed my girl into my arms just as she stopped breathing."

As panic filled the room, the family sprang into action. Emergency services were called, while Robertson Huff immediately began CPR on her daughter. At the same time, family members prayed out loud as they moved the other children to safety.

Despite previously preparing for emergencies by watching instructional videos, Robertson Huff said the moment itself felt guided by something beyond instinct.

"I felt God's Spirit guiding me, partnering with me in what I had learned," she shared. "I remember saying out loud, 'what do I do?' and then immediately started doing it and declaring life."

Following proper choking-response protocol and performing CPR, Kit suddenly coughed and began breathing again-just moments before paramedics arrived.

"It was truly terrifying, but God," Robertson Huff wrote, capturing both the fear of the moment and her gratitude for what she describes as divine intervention.

The incident has left the young mother processing both trauma and relief. She admitted to experiencing ongoing anxiety in the aftermath but remains deeply thankful for her daughter's full recovery.

Robertson Huff, who shares three children with husband Christian Huff, has built a platform centered on faith, family, and encouragement. Through her books, speaking engagements, and podcast, she frequently points audiences to her Christian faith as the foundation of her life.

By sharing this harrowing experience, she hopes to not only testify to God's faithfulness but also urge parents to learn life-saving techniques such as infant CPR-preparation that, in her case, proved critical in a moment of crisis.
