Duck Dynasty star Sadie Robertson Huff has shared an emotional update about her youngest daughter, revealing that baby Kit suffered a second frightening choking incident that led doctors to uncover an underlying medical issue.
In a deeply personal social media post, Robertson explained that what the family initially believed was a one-time emergency quickly became something far more serious after the choking happened again shortly afterward.
"A month since Kit choked, and what we thought was a one-time event, happened again shortly after...and that was the beginning of discovering something underlying," Robertson shared.
While she did not publicly reveal the exact diagnosis, Robertson said doctors were able to identify the issue and provide treatment, adding that her 9-month-old daughter is now healing well.
"Praise the Lord that, for such a scary and life-threatening event we had, it was a relatively small fix because of the incredible doctors," she wrote.
The ordeal deeply impacted the family emotionally, with Robertson admitting the experience brought both trauma and moments she described as miraculous.
"This past month has marked us in a way that will take a while to unpack," she explained. "We've seen things that brought a lot of trauma, and also seen miracles on miracles that I'll tell stories about forever."
Robertson also shared a touching hospital video showing baby Kit resting while she softly sang "Always On Time" by Elevation Worship - a song she says became deeply meaningful throughout the family's difficult month.
"The words to this song couldn't testify more to this month," she shared. "I sang them over and over."
Kit Carroway, born in August 2025, is the youngest daughter of Robertson and her husband Christian Huff. The couple are also parents to daughters Honey James and Haven Belle.
The update quickly sparked an outpouring of support online, with fans, friends, and fellow believers praying for the family and praising Robertson's openness about fear, faith, and motherhood during the frightening medical ordeal.
Known for blending faith-centered encouragement with candid reflections on family life, Robertson's latest update resonated deeply with many parents who have faced medical emergencies involving young children.
As the family continues processing the experience, Robertson said one thing remains certain: through fear, uncertainty, and healing, they have witnessed what she describes as God's faithfulness every step of the way.
