Pop star Gracie Abrams has officially announced her highly anticipated third studio album, Daughter from Hell, marking the beginning of what fans are already calling a bold new musical era.

According to Billboard, the album is scheduled for release on July 17, 2026, and will feature 16 tracks, including the lead single Hit the Wall, which arrives May 14. Abrams shared the announcement on Instagram alongside striking new cover art photographed by Julie Greve.

"My third album is out July 17," Abrams wrote. "Whoa whoa whoa. Freaking out... I am so ready for it to be yours."

The project reunites Abrams with longtime collaborator Aaron Dessner, who previously helped shape her acclaimed albums Good Riddance and The Secret of Us.

Over recent months, Abrams had been teasing the new era through cryptic social media posts featuring "DFH" stickers, "witch" imagery, handwritten journals, and snippets of unreleased music. Fans quickly speculated that a darker, more experimental sound was coming.

The announcement follows a massive breakthrough period for Abrams. Her 2024 album The Secret of Us debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and produced major hits including That's So True and I Love You, I'm Sorry.

Abrams also gained global attention through collaborations with Taylor Swift, including their Grammy-nominated duet Us, and through appearances on Swift's Eras Tour.

Industry buzz around Daughter from Hell suggests Abrams may be pushing into a more cinematic and emotionally intense direction sonically and visually. Reports surrounding the album rollout have described the new era as darker, moodier, and more conceptually ambitious than her previous work
