"America's Got Talent" fans are in for a different kind of episode tonight. Instead of another night of auditions, NBC airs a special "Live Acts Revealed" episode Tuesday, July 28, giving Season 21 hopefuls their first indication of where they stand heading into the live rounds.
With auditions officially wrapped, judges Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Mel B, and Sofía Vergara faced a tall task: narrowing roughly 100 acts down to 44 live-show spots, with only 10 already locked in through Golden Buzzers. Rather than cut dozens of acts outright, the judges introduced a brand-new twist for Season 21 - the Judges' Callbacks round, giving several standout acts one final shot to prove themselves.
Adding star power to that process, AGT confirmed this week that six celebrity guest judges will join the callback episodes airing August 4 and 11. Mel B reunites with fellow Spice Girl Emma Bunton, Simon Cowell brings in Normani and producer Poo Bear, Sofía Vergara adds Sebastián Yatra and Lele Pons, and Howie Mandel is joined by comedian Nikki Glaser. Twenty-three acts will get this extra chance before the full live-show lineup is finalized.
Among the names fans are watching closely is Sarah Hardwig, a 23-year-old blind singer from Naples, Florida, whose emotional final-audition performance of Lainey Wilson's "Heart Like a Truck" earned four yeses and a standing ovation.
