Hollywood icon Dick Van Dyke is once again proving age is just a number.

The beloved entertainer, who turned 100 in December 2025, was recently spotted dancing and laughing during a community event in Malibu alongside his wife, Arlene Silver. The joyful moment gained widespread attention after video footage shared by the actor's personal photographer showed Van Dyke happily moving to live music while seated at the event.

The gathering was held for the groundbreaking of a new urgent care center in Malibu, where Van Dyke also shared a warm interaction with legendary musician Herb Alpert, 91. In the video, Alpert leaned over to introduce himself while Van Dyke joked, "Gotta keep moving!" as he tapped along to the music.

Fans online quickly celebrated the moment, calling it "pure joy" and praising the enduring energy of the entertainment legends. The appearance comes only months after Van Dyke celebrated his milestone 100th birthday.

Best known for classics such as Mary Poppins, The Dick Van Dyke Show, and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Van Dyke remains one of Hollywood's most beloved performers. Across a career spanning more than seven decades, he has earned multiple Emmy Awards, a Tony Award, a Grammy Award, and recognition as a Disney Legend.

Van Dyke has frequently credited Silver, whom he married in 2012, for helping keep him active and joyful in later life. The couple first met backstage at the SAG Awards in 2006, where Silver was working as a makeup artist. Van Dyke has openly said he believes he "wouldn't be 100 years old" without her support and companionship.

Despite occasional health setbacks in recent years, including wildfire evacuations from his Malibu home and mobility challenges, Van Dyke continues to embrace public appearances and maintain his famously optimistic outlook on life
