One Week Away: Hannah Harper and Jordan McCullough Remind You That the American Idol Takeover at CMA Fest Is Free

Hannah Harper and Jordan McCullough delivering the reminder in person: the American Idol Takeover at CMA Fest is one week away, and you do not want to miss it.

The event takes place on June 3 at 6th and Peabody in Nashville, hosted by 19 Recordings, running from 4 PM to 8 PM - and it is completely free. 

Harper, along with runner-up Jordan McCullough and second runner-up Keyla Richardson, will take the stage alongside a full Season 24 lineup including Brooks Rosser, Braden Rumfelt, Chris Tungseth, Lucas Leon, Rae, Philmon Lee, Jake Thistle, Julian Kalel, Genevieve Heyward, and Kutter Bradley. Past contestants Mattie Pruitt, Will Moseley, and Colin Stough will also be performing. 

For Harper, the timing carries its own weight. For many fans, the June 3 appearance will mark the first opportunity to see the newly crowned Season 24 winner perform live after the finale. She won on May 11. That is less than a month from stage to stage - and she is walking into one of the most anticipated CMA Fest week showcases in recent memory. 

Jordan McCullough, the runner-up, is a worship leader from Murfreesboro, Tennessee - making this a homecoming show as much as a performance. For JubileeCast readers who have been following this season, the faith thread that ran through Season 24 is showing up again - this time on a free outdoor stage in the heart of Nashville.

American Idol will also be holding live auditions at CMA Fest on June 5 for anyone ready to take their own shot at next season.
