One of music's biggest stars just got married - and she kept it beautifully small.
Dua Lipa and Callum Turner officially tied the knot on May 31 at London's Old Marylebone Town Hall in a ceremony as personal as it gets. Just eight loved ones were present, sending the newlyweds off with confetti and flower petals as they stepped out and into a waiting car.
Dua wore a fitted white skirt and blazer set, wide-brimmed hat, gloves, and Louboutin pumps - finishing the look with a bouquet of yellow flowers. Callum was in a navy double-breasted suit.
The London ceremony is only the beginning. A second celebration is planned later this week - a three-day star-studded event in Sicily, Italy, with multiple venues reserved for the occasion. Charli XCX and Tove Lo are reportedly among the guests, with Sir Elton John rumored to perform.
Their story started simply. The two first met at The River Cafe in London - Dua was there with her father, Callum with friends - and later discovered they were both reading the same book.
When she confirmed their engagement, Dua told British Vogue: "This decision to grow old together, to see a life and just be best friends forever - it's a really special feeling."
Today, that feeling has a ring - and a last name - to go with it.
For people of faith, marriage at its heart is more than a ceremony. It's a covenant - a chosen commitment to love and remain, through every season.
Congratulations to the happy couple.
