Power Rangers Movie Latest News: The Film has been Greenlighted and its About Time to Bring Out the Colors White, Pink, Blue, Black, Yellow and Red!
Power Ranger release date is set on the summer of 2016. The film will be competing with biggies in the box office. Expect Power Rangers to soar high as fans are eagerly anticipating this movie. The last Power Rangers movie was in 1995 and was titled Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie.
At the moment, no director has been assigned to helm the popular superhero TV series, but Roberto Orci, the Executive Producer and story developer behind hits like Transformers, Star Trek, Amazing Spider-Man 2, will conform to fans that the movie is in good hands. Orci's involvement will determine that this is a Hollywood franchise. Writing the script would be Ashley Miller and Zack Stentz, the guys behind X-Men: First Class and Thor, and are in the works after being hired a few weeks ago.
The Power Rangers Plot has yet to be developed but speculations says that " a modern reinvention of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, a group of ordinary high school kids who find themselves infused with extraterrestrial powers and must harness those powers as a team to save the world."
Just like the success of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, which were both introduced to the masses in the late '80's and early '90's, moviegoers will certainly experience a certain nostalgia feeling seeing these superheroes onscreen once again. With this say, the movie will definitely entertain the audiences of the past generation and the present generation.
