Patrick Mayberry has released his new EP, Anybody Else, a six-song project centered on faith, testimony, and the life-changing message of the Gospel.
The title track, which is also Mayberry's current radio single, was inspired by a memorable experience during a visit to Louisiana State Penitentiary with prison ministry organization God Behind Bars.
During a worship gathering that included inmates on death row, a call to follow Christ led one man to step forward for baptism. Sensing a prompting from God to ask if anyone else wanted to respond, Mayberry did so, and two additional inmates made decisions to follow Jesus.
That powerful moment became the foundation for "Anybody Else," a song that encourages believers to boldly share what God has done in their lives.
The EP includes six tracks: "It Is Well," "Three Days Later," "Anybody Else," "Simple and True," "The Resurrection and the Life," and "Hallelujah, Thank You Jesus." Premium lyric videos accompany the release, along with an official music video for the title track.
The project arrives during a strong season for Mayberry. His song "Lead On Good Shepherd" recently reached No. 1 on Billboard's Christian radio chart and earned a nomination for Worship Song of the Year at the K-LOVE Fan Awards. He has also shared the stage with artists including Crowder, Seph Schlueter, Elevation Worship, Phil Wickham, We The Kingdom, Anne Wilson, and Pat Barrett.
Mayberry's story behind "Anybody Else" serves as a reminder that the Gospel continues to transform lives in every setting, and that God often works through simple acts of obedience to draw people to Himself.
