Expendables 3 News: Jackie Chan Explains Why He Did Not Commit to Previous Invitation of Sly Stallone to Join the Ensemble Cast
Expendables 3 is out now and is headlining at the box office. The delightful Expendables 3 cast of this film is said to be what fans are drawn into the movie. Just imagine having Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Harrison Ford, Mel Gibson, Antonio Banderas, Wesley Snipes and etc. It is just like watching 80's and 90's movie reruns - in one sitting. Well, we can no longer imagine as it is happening now. From the very first Expendables to this third installment, we are much impressed with what Sly and Arnie did.
Meanwhile, Jackie Chan, explains the reason why he did not commit to the previous invitations to join the movie franchise. In a recent interview, he mentioned "this morning I did hear - the office called - Sly [Stallone] wants me for Expendables 4. I said, 'Okay.' Because they already asked me to be in two and three, but I refused. Well, I didn't refuse, but I said, 'Sly, can't we just do you and me? Not just a bunch of people and me only coming out for five minutes.' Because then the audience is, 'Oh!' And then I'm gone." Sly and Chan are certainly the best of friends as Sly did at some point invited Chan to come to America for Demolition Man.
