The world's largest music festival is back - and this year's edition has more going on than most people realize.
Summerfest 2026, celebrating its 58th anniversary and presented by American Family Insurance, runs across three weekends in Milwaukee, Wisconsin: June 18-20, June 25-27, and July 2-4.
More than 150 artists perform across 12 stages at Henry Maier Festival Park along the Lake Michigan waterfront, with the festival running noon to midnight daily.
This Weekend - June 18-20
Opening weekend features Megan Moroney at the American Family Insurance Amphitheater on June 18, Don Toliver on June 19, and Carín León closing the weekend on June 20.
The BMO Pavilion adds Charlie Wilson on June 18, Styx on June 19, and David Lee Roth on June 20.
Weekend Two - June 25-27
Ed Sheeran headlines June 25, Cody Johnson with Jessie Murph and Louis Tomlinson perform June 26, and Post Malone closes the second weekend on June 27.
Weekend Three - July 2-4
Muse opens the final weekend on July 2, Alex Warren and Buju Banton with Stephen Marley perform July 3, and Jelly Roll closes the entire festival on July 4.
Tickets and What's Included
General admission covers the festival grounds and all regular festival stages. American Family Insurance Amphitheater shows require a separate ticket, though that ticket includes same-day Summerfest admission.
BMO Pavilion reserved seat tickets also include same-day admission.
The Faith Moments Worth Knowing About
Two stand out. First, Summerfest is joining Milwaukee's 55th Annual Juneteenth Day celebration on June 19 - a meaningful intersection of music, community, and history happening right on the festival grounds, including a "Taste of Juneteenth" event on June 20 featuring local food vendors at the Potawatomi Founder's Club.
Second, Jelly Roll closing the festival on July 4 is worth noting. The artist has spoken openly and repeatedly about faith, redemption, and God's role in his transformation - making his July 4 headline slot one of the most faith-resonant moments on any major festival stage this summer.
