He further claimed that Chase's estate had sufficient resources to cover expenses without public donations.

Ryan alleged that Hernandez failed to notify Chase's family about her hospitalization until after she had passed away and accused him of attempting to "control the dialogue" surrounding her death. He also encouraged supporters to report the fundraiser rather than contribute to it.
