Ryan Ellis isn't just dropping a new single. He's starting over - and doing it honestly.
Apollo Records and RMG have announced a new strategic partnership with Ellis, launching with the release of his new single "No Halo."
The track explores the tension between imperfection and grace, challenging the idea that people must have everything together before they are worthy of love, purpose, or redemption.
The message isn't subtle - and that's the point. Through vulnerable storytelling and songwriting, Ellis delivers a message that resonates with anyone navigating life's struggles while holding onto hope.
Ellis himself celebrated the release with pure, unfiltered excitement on Facebook: "MY NEW SINGLE 'NO HALO' IS OOOKAAAY DOOOOOEE" - the kind of reaction that tells you an artist is genuinely proud of what they made.
A San Diego native and former member of the original Jabbawockeez hip-hop dance crew, Ellis came to music through a personal encounter with Jesus following his military service, after which he became a worship pastor and began writing for artists including Chris Tomlin, Matt Redman, and Natalie Grant.
As the first release under the Apollo Records and RMG partnership, "No Halo" marks the start of an exciting new season - reflecting a commitment to authentic artistry, meaningful storytelling, and music that meets listeners where they are.
No halo required.
"No Halo" is out now on all streaming platforms.
