South Florida singer Shari Beckford is stepping into gospel for the first time with her new song "Miracle," a country-flavored track built entirely around faith and resilience.
Produced by Howard Keizs and set for release in late July, "Miracle" marks Beckford's first venture into the genre since launching her recording career six years ago. Her catalog has ranged widely - from the breakout single "I Will Not Break," produced by Dean Fraser, to the country ballad "Angel Or Demon" and the dance track "Drink If You Wanna." "Miracle" takes her in a different direction entirely.
"Miracle was inspired by seasons in life when hope is all you have left," Beckford said. "It's a song about holding on through uncertainty, trusting God and believing that even when circumstances seem impossible, a breakthrough can still come."
Beckford said the song draws from personal experience but was written with a wider audience in mind. "While it reflects personal emotions and experiences, I wrote it so anyone facing hardship can see themselves in the message," she said.
The move reflects a broader pattern playing out across popular music this year, as artists built outside the church walls keep finding their way toward songs about God - a trend JubileeCast has tracked through names like Jelly Roll, Justin Bieber, and Kanye West. Beckford's "Miracle" adds a smaller, more personal entry to that same story: an artist known for country and dance music choosing, this time, to write a prayer.
"Miracle" is scheduled for release in late July.
