Destiny PC Release Date: Rumored for a March 2015 Release, PS4 and Xbox One Release Date on September 9, Plus Insights from Developer
The much-awaited release of Destiny is coming in less than a month for PS4 and Xbox One gamers. It is scheduled for release on September 9. Bungie, which is also the developer of Halo, has released a beta version of Destiny last July 2014, which proved to be a tremendous success.
Bungie shares, "The Destiny beta was a tremendous success from where we sat overlooking the Tower. If you played, Bungie thanks you from the bottom of our hearts. We learned so much about our game, and how we can make it better." They also added, "Bungie thanks you for playing. We made some great discoveries of our own, and we'll use them to make Destiny a great game for all."
When it comes to Destiny PC release date, Activision, which is Bungie's co-developer in the action RPG game shares, "It is [a good fit], and it's something we're talking about and looking at very carefully, and obviously it makes a lot of sense with the genre and the type of game it is. You know, developing on PC is a different animal than developing for consoles and so we just want to make sure that we're putting one foot in front of the other and getting it right, and that it's of the highest possible quality. But obviously I see the same things about the natural fit."
