Ant Man Movie News Update! Release Date, Plot and Main Casts
Ant Man is another fictional action - superhero character created by Marvel Comics and first appeared in the comic book, Tales to Astonish #27 in the month of January year 1962. Marvel Studios and Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures are now creating an adaptation of the said character and soon to be in theaters nationwide. Yes, you read it right. Ant Man will be on wide screen and will be released on the 17th of July 2015.
Ant Man the movie is base from its comic book version with the lead character of ant man himself who's a Biophysicist and Security Operations Center expert Dr. Henry "Hank" Pym. Henry Pym discovered a chemical substance called "Pym Particles" that would allow him to change and transform his size. Due to that, Dr. Pym decided to be a superhero after discovering the "Pym Particles". Equipped with a helmet that is used to control ants, he could shrink as tiny as an ant to solve crime as the Ant Man. Soon enough he told his girlfriend Janet Van Dyne and become his partner in solving crimes as The Wasp. Later on the duo become part of the Avengers and had fought with their recurring enemies including the mad Scientist Egghead, the mutant Whirlwind, and Pym's very own created robot Ultron. Writers Stan Lee former president of Marvel Comics, Larry Lieber an American comic book artist and writer who is the younger brother of Stan Lee and Jack Kirby (Jacob Kurtzberg) who is now with the Almighty God, that also created the success full Captain America were surely had made an out of this world character that comic book fans truly loved and admired.
Actors that will play the main characters of the movie were absolutely delighted with the big break. Michael Douglas will play as Dr. Henry Pym and Ant Man himself. Another character of Ant Man will be portrayed by Paul Rudd as Scott Land / Ant Man. Janet Van Dyne "The Wasp" will be acted by Evangeline Lilly a Canadian actress who is part of the TV series "Lost". Another character of the movie is Darren Ross known as the "Yellowjacket" who is an apprentice of Dr. Pym that later on had the Ant-Man technology and created a yellowjacket suit will be played by Corey Stoll.
There are more characters in the movie that would definitely make it a hit all throughout the world. These are only the main characters of the story.
