There's a new power couple in the worship music world!

Bethel Music singer Zahriya Zachary has married Cadence Helser, the son of acclaimed worship leaders Jonathan David and Melissa Helser, bringing together two familiar names from the contemporary worship scene.

The couple's wedding registry lists their wedding date as August 1, 2026, just days after Zachary excitedly announced that she had officially entered "wedding week."

"I've dreamed of this moment my whole life and it's finally here," Zachary shared ahead of the big day, adding that she couldn't wait to marry Helser.

For worship music fans, this marriage comes with quite the family connection.

Zachary rose to wider attention through Bethel Music after appearing on the collective's 2021 album Homecoming, where she led "Back To Life" and joined Brian Johnson on "Hymn Of Heaven." She has since appeared on additional Bethel Music projects while developing her own solo career, including her full-length album Rediscovery.

Cadence, meanwhile, grew up surrounded by worship music. His parents, Jonathan David and Melissa Helser, are the husband-and-wife worship leaders behind songs including "No Longer Slaves" and "Raise A Hallelujah." Cadence is also part of the Cageless Birds community founded by his parents and has songwriting credits of his own.

In fact, music has already become part of Zahriya and Cadence's love story. Cadence co-wrote the instrumental track "Relief" with his now-wife for her Rediscovery project. Air1 described him as Zachary's fiancé when highlighting the album earlier this year, while Bethel Music's official song page credits both Zachary and Helser as writers.

Zachary's connection with the Helser family actually began well before the romance. She previously participated in the 18 Inch Journey, the North Carolina discipleship school founded by Jonathan and Melissa Helser. Air1 reported that the experience became an important chapter in her spiritual journey and that she eventually became engaged to their son.

Earlier this year, Zachary revealed that she planned to relocate to North Carolina following the wedding, describing the close-knit community she had discovered there as giving her a deep sense of home.

And if Cadence's recent words are anything to go by, he's completely smitten.

In a romantic tribute to Zachary, Helser described his bride as the person he had longed for before he even understood longing, calling her both "strong and soft" and "tender and fierce." He ended the emotional message with a simple declaration of devotion: "My heart is forever yours."

From discipleship and worship music to songwriting together and now marriage, Zahriya Zachary and Cadence Helser's story has certainly come full circle.

Congratulations to the newlyweds!
