BTS members V and Jungkook opened up about health struggles they'd kept hidden from fans, sharing the news together during a Weverse Live broadcast after their concert in Baltimore.

"I've never told ARMY this before, but my hearing hasn't been good for the past two and a half years," V said, using the group's official name for its fan base. He explained the imbalance in detail: "If the left one hears at about 100 right now, the right one hears only 30." He said he has been on regular medication and seeing doctors for treatment, and that the condition worsened during his mandatory military service, when he initially brushed off the symptoms as something to push through.

Jungkook, caught off guard by V's confession, shared a struggle of his own. He said he is "on the verge of developing a stress fracture" in his shin, an injury that has limited how much he can jump and run onstage during the group's North American tour. "I'll manage the injury as carefully as I can so that I can keep performing," he said, adding that back-to-back concert dates have made it difficult for the injury to fully heal.

The conversation came during a rare, unscripted moment between the two members as they shared a meal following the second of two sold-out shows at Baltimore's M&T Bank Stadium. BTS is currently touring North America as part of its "Arirang" world tour, with stops scheduled in Arlington, Texas, on August 15 and 16, followed by Toronto later this month.

Fans responded to the livestream with an outpouring of concern and encouragement, urging both members to prioritize their health as the tour continues. The honest exchange offered a rare, human glimpse behind the demands of global stardom - a reminder that even the world's biggest performers carry real, quiet burdens most fans never see.
