In an exclusive interview with Page Six, Barbara Lavandeira described August 4 as "one of the darkest days" her family has ever experienced and recalled the uneasy feeling that led her to check on her brother.
"Something just felt wrong," she said.
Barbara was reportedly at Hilton's Miami home with her daughter and his three children when she became concerned after he remained inside a bathroom for an unusually long period. When she eventually got inside, she discovered her brother badly injured.
"I didn't recognize my brother," she told the outlet.
