NASHVILLE, Tenn. / CHARLOTTE, N.C. - August 21, 2026 - Elevation Worship has released Promise & Presence, a new instrumental worship project created to help listeners slow down, pray, meditate on Scripture and intentionally make room for God's presence.
Released today, the project comes in two companion versions: Promise & Presence and Promise & Presence: Guided Scripture. The latter features Pastor Steven Furtick speaking Scripture over the instrumental arrangements, offering listeners an additional way to engage with God's Word.
A Worship Resource for Prayer and Reflection
Elevation Worship's Chris Brown describes Promise & Presence as a resource designed to help listeners meditate on Scripture and invite the Holy Spirit into their everyday moments.
The project runs for approximately one hour and 40 minutes, creating an extended musical backdrop for prayer, personal devotion and quiet reflection. The group hopes the music will provide listeners with a sense of refuge and a dedicated space to encounter God's presence.
Rather than functioning as a traditional vocal worship album, the project focuses on creating an atmosphere that listeners can use during their own spiritual practices.
25 Songs Across 12 Instrumental Tracks
Promise & Presence contains 12 tracks featuring 25 songs, including instrumental versions of several of Elevation Worship's well-known songs.
Among the featured songs are:
- "I Know A Name"
- "Same God"
- "God I'm Just Grateful"
- "When Wind Meets Fire"
- "The Blessing"
The instrumental arrangements are intended to work in a variety of settings, from individual prayer and Scripture reading to small groups and church ministry environments.
Guided Scripture Adds a New Dimension
Alongside the instrumental album, Promise & Presence: Guided Scripture gives listeners an alternative format for engaging with the project.
Pastor Steven Furtick reads Scripture over the instrumental music, combining biblical passages with the atmospheric arrangements. The result is designed to encourage listeners to spend more intentional time reflecting on God's Word.
Both projects are available to listen to now.
Following Elevation Worship's 2026 Album SO BE IT
The new instrumental release follows Elevation Worship's latest full-length album, SO BE IT, which arrived on February 20, 2026.
The album includes songs such as "Jesus Be The Name," "God I'm Just Grateful" and the title track "SO BE IT." According to the group, the project is on track to become its biggest solo album to date.
Elevation Worship has built an extensive catalog of worship music, including RIAA-certified songs such as "Jireh," "O Come To The Altar," "Do It Again," "Praise," "The Blessing," "Graves Into Gardens" and "Same God."
The group has also earned five No. 1 radio singles, a GRAMMY Award, five Billboard Music Awards, nine GMA Dove Awards and a K-LOVE Fan Award.
With Promise & Presence, Elevation Worship is taking a different approach to its music-offering familiar worship songs in instrumental form and creating an extended resource for listeners seeking time for prayer, Scripture and personal worship.
