Hailey Bieber's older sister, Alaia Baldwin Aronow, appears to have dodged jail time in one of the Baldwin family's more bizarre legal dramas.
According to TMZ, Alaia has been offered a pretrial diversion deal stemming from her headline-grabbing 2024 arrest in Savannah, Georgia - a case involving allegations of a nightclub altercation, physical attacks on employees and, most memorably, a thrown tampon.
The 33-year-old daughter of actor Stephen Baldwin reportedly accepted the diversion offer, which means she can stay out of jail as long as she completes the program and keeps herself out of further trouble. TMZ reports that Alaia has already paid the required program fee.
The deal marks a major turn in a case that looked considerably more serious earlier this year.
Prosecutors formally charged Alaia in January 2026 with four misdemeanor counts: battery, simple battery, simple assault and criminal trespass. The charges traced back to an incident at Club Elan in Savannah on February 24, 2024.
And the allegations were anything but ordinary.
Police were called after club employees claimed Alaia became involved in a confrontation after entering an employees-only bathroom. One security guard alleged she pulled hair from his head, while another claimed she kicked him in the groin.
But it was a bartender's allegation that really sent the story racing across the internet: Alaia was accused of removing a tampon and throwing it at the employee.
Alaia reportedly gave police a very different account, claiming she had been defending herself.
The case lingered for nearly two years before prosecutors brought the misdemeanor charges in January. At the time, Alaia's attorneys Drew Findling and Cris Schneider expressed confidence that the matter would ultimately be resolved favorably.
It looks like they were right.
Rather than facing the possibility of time behind bars, Alaia now has a route through the diversion program that could bring the embarrassing legal saga to a much quieter conclusion - provided she fulfills all of its requirements.
The story has inevitably attracted extra attention because of Alaia's famous family. She is the older sister of Hailey Bieber, wife of pop superstar Justin Bieber, and the daughter of Stephen Baldwin. She is also the niece of Alec Baldwin.
For now, though, the most important name in Alaia's life may be the one attached to her diversion paperwork. After a nightclub confrontation that produced one of celebrity news' strangest allegations, staying out of trouble is apparently the order of the day.
