"America's Got Talent" alum Bay Turner has released a new duet version of his song "Somebody's Praying," featuring Christian music veteran Natalie Grant, out now across streaming platforms.
Turner shared the news on Facebook, calling the collaboration a moment he'll "never get over." "Natalie, your voice has carried so many of us through so many seasons, and the heart, power, and ANOINTING you brought to this song means more to me than I can put into words," he wrote. "What an absolute HONOR. What a moment. What a GOD."
The original version of "Somebody's Praying" first appeared on Turner's debut EP, Better Days, released earlier this year on Centricity Music, and quickly found a home on Christian radio through the K-LOVE Radio Network. The song reflects on the power of intercessory prayer, with Turner writing on social media, "This song is a reminder that even when you don't see it, somebody's praying. Somebody's believing. Somebody's standing in the gap. And God is listening."
Turner, who competed on Season 17 of "America's Got Talent" and Season 10 of BET's "Sunday Best," was discovered by Centricity Music after a YouTube clip of him covering CeCe Winans went viral. He has since performed with the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir and appeared on producer Tommee Profitt's The Resurrection of a King project.
