Rumer Willis is asking a judge to keep her ex Derek Richard Thomas' visits with their 3-year-old daughter, Louetta, supervised, according to court documents obtained by TMZ.
The filing states that Thomas' supervised visits began June 20 but that he completed only five and a half sessions, which Willis attributes to disputes over the nannies assigned to oversee his time with their daughter. According to the documents, the court-approved nanny had to step back for health reasons, and Willis claims Thomas declined to accept a replacement on multiple occasions.
The filing also raises concerns about judgment calls Willis says Thomas made while caring for Louetta, including a decision to walk roughly two and a half miles in extreme heat rather than arrange transportation. Willis is asking the court to maintain supervised visitation and delay any transition to overnight visits until a hearing is held, pending a court-ordered evaluation.
Thomas, through his attorney, has denied the allegations, calling them "materially false and misleading" and stating he has never placed his daughter at risk. His side has also pointed to Willis' recent move with Louetta to Nashville as a separate point of contention.
Willis was awarded primary physical custody of Louetta earlier this year, with the former couple sharing joint legal custody. Both sides are expected to present their case at a hearing next month.
