Tim McGraw and Faith Hill's daughter Maggie McGraw is engaged to her boyfriend of more than two years, James Rubin-and the romantic proposal apparently came complete with flowers, family and one seriously impressive diamond ring.
Although Maggie, 28, has yet to announce the engagement on her own social media accounts, her older sister Gracie McGraw happily spilled the family's exciting secret. Sharing a carousel of celebratory photos, Gracie included a glamorous shot of the bride-to-be sipping champagne while proudly displaying the enormous sparkling rock on her left hand.
According to Gracie, Rubin proposed in "the greatest most Maggie way possible," surrounding his future bride with flowers and the people she loves most. Gracie and the couple's younger sister, Audrey McGraw, also helped prepare the romantic setting and make certain everything was perfect before James asked the all-important question.
"It's an honor to have been a small part of the process of getting things set up and perfect for our Mags," Gracie wrote. She also thanked James for loving Maggie "so fiercely and wholly" and for making her sister "the happiest lady in all the land."
The engagement means Tim McGraw and Faith Hill now have a wedding to help plan, although the country power couple has not yet publicly commented on the happy news. No ceremony date or venue has been announced, leaving fans to wonder whether Maggie might choose a lavish Nashville celebration, an intimate family gathering or something entirely unexpected.
Maggie has generally maintained a quieter public profile than her sisters. Gracie, 29, has pursued theater, while Audrey, 24, is following her musical ambitions. Maggie instead earned a master's degree from Stanford University and currently works as a special projects and government affairs manager for Earth League International, a nonprofit organization fighting environmental crime.
One thing is already certain: with Tim McGraw and Faith Hill as the parents of the bride, this will not be an ordinary family wedding.
