Acclaimed worship leader and songwriter Tim Hughes has entered a new chapter of his musical journey with the release of "Make A Way (Live)," his first new solo music in more than a decade.
Recorded live at Gas Street Church in Birmingham, England, the new song arrives through Integrity Music and reflects Hughes' years of pastoral ministry, church planting and leading a local congregation. The song was written by Hughes with Brian Johnson, Jenn Johnson, Ben Fielding and Nick Herbert.
"Make A Way" was created for congregational worship while addressing the difficult space between faith, disappointment and uncertainty. Rather than ignoring hardship, the song acknowledges seasons when life does not unfold as expected while pointing listeners back to the faithfulness of God.
Hughes says the song grew out of experiences where faith and disappointment meet, expressing his hope that it will help people continue declaring truth over their lives, families and churches even when circumstances are difficult.
