A decade after "Eye of the Storm" became one of contemporary Christian music's defining songs, Ryan Stevenson is celebrating the enduring anthem with a major career milestone and new music for a new generation.

The GRAMMY®-nominated, Dove Award-winning artist has released "Eye of the Storm (A Decade Later)" along with "Eye of the Storm (Kids Version)," reimagining the song that first captured listeners in 2016.

The anniversary release arrives as "Eye of the Storm" officially reaches RIAA Platinum certification, marking another significant achievement for a song that has continued to resonate with audiences through seasons of uncertainty, hardship, and faith.

Originally appearing on Stevenson's Fresh Start album, "Eye of the Storm" quickly became a breakthrough success. The song reached No. 1 on both the Billboard Hot Christian Songs and Christian Airplay charts and spent 16 weeks at the top of Christian radio. Its impact was further recognized with a 2017 GMA Dove Award for Pop/Contemporary Recorded Song of the Year.

Now, ten years later, Stevenson is revisiting the song with a version that connects the original message with a new generation.

The anniversary recording serves as a full-circle moment for Stevenson. The original "Eye of the Storm" featured the late GabeReal (Gabe Patillo), while the new kids' version brings Stevenson together with Patillo's children, creating a deeply personal continuation of the song's story.

Rather than simply looking back, the new recordings emphasize why the song has endured in the first place: its reminder that God remains faithful even when circumstances are anything but certain.

Stevenson's career has continued to grow since "Eye of the Storm" first made its mark. With seven No. 1 hits and more than 3.2 billion global streams, he has established himself as a consistent voice in contemporary Christian music, blending honest storytelling with messages of hope and perseverance.

The anniversary celebration will also extend beyond the new recordings. Stevenson will embark on an "Eye of the Storm" 10th Anniversary Tour this fall, with the limited run scheduled from September 30 through October 18.

The tour will give fans an opportunity to revisit the memories surrounding the song while hearing "Eye of the Storm" alongside other favorites from Stevenson's catalog.

Fans can listen to "Eye of the Storm (A Decade Later)" and "Eye of the Storm (Kids Version)" now. An official music video for the Kids Version is also part of the anniversary celebration, extending the song's message of faith to younger listeners.

Ten years after its original release, "Eye of the Storm" continues to point listeners toward the same enduring truth: life can change without warning, but God remains steady through every storm.

For Stevenson, the Platinum certification and anniversary recordings offer more than an opportunity to celebrate a past success. They represent the continued life of a song whose message has traveled across generations-and whose words of faith remain just as relevant today.
