Autumn Nelon Streetman is turning unimaginable heartbreak into songs of faith, hope and healing after signing an exclusive songwriting agreement with Daywind Music Publishing.
The Gospel artist and member of the celebrated Nelon family is beginning a significant new chapter with the company she says has supported her through some of the most difficult seasons of her life. While the deal places Autumn alongside some of Christian music's most respected songwriters, it is also deeply personal.

Songwriting is a natural continuation of Autumn's extraordinary Gospel music heritage. Her father, Jerry Thompson, and grandfather, Rex Nelon, were both established songwriters, while the Nelons became one of Southern Gospel's most beloved family groups.
However, Autumn's new direction comes after a devastating personal tragedy. In July 2024, several members of her family were killed in a plane crash, leaving her to grieve an almost incomprehensible loss while holding tightly to her Christian faith.
Rick Shelton, vice president of Daywind Music Publishing, said Autumn's painful experiences have given her a story capable of connecting deeply with listeners.
"Through it all, her faith has remained steadfast, and that authenticity shines through in the songs she writes," Shelton said. "Autumn is not only preserving a rich heritage, but also building on it by writing songs that bring hope, encouragement, and healing to others."
That grief is already shaping Autumn's music. Her latest song, "I'll Find You," released July 24, was co-written with Joseph Habedank and Kenna Turner West. The deeply emotional track expresses her longing for heaven and the day she will be reunited with the family members she lost.
The Daywind agreement means Autumn will now develop her songwriting alongside a formidable roster that includes Joseph Habedank, Karen Peck Gooch, Jason Cox, Wayne Haun, Jim Brady, Melissa Brady, Adam Crabb, Mike Harland and Barry Weeks.
For Autumn, the signing is about far more than professional advancement. It represents a chance to carry her family's Gospel legacy forward while allowing her own voice to emerge from the pain.
