Carla Jeffery, the actress best known for playing cheerleader Bree in Disney Channel's "Zombies" franchise, has died at age 33.
Her longtime talent agency, Alexanders Talent Management, confirmed the news on Instagram, saying Jeffery passed away on September 1. "Our hearts are broken as we mourn the loss of our beloved Carla Jeffery," the agency wrote, adding that she had been part of their roster for more than 20 years, since she was 12 years old.
No cause of death has been disclosed by her family or representatives, and outlets including ABC News and Deadline confirm that detail has not been released to the public.
Jeffery first broke into Hollywood with a role in 2006's "Phat Girlz" before landing parts on "iCarly," "Good Luck Charlie," and "Shake It Up." She later earned a recurring role as Keysha Black on Larry David's "Curb Your Enthusiasm." Her biggest break came in 2018 when she was cast as Bree in Disney's "Zombies," reprising the role through "Zombies 2," "Zombies 3," and the animated spinoff series.
