TobyMac and Trevor McNevan Release "Walk Thru Fire" for 'Daniel and the Fiery Furnace'

Grammy-winning artist TobyMac has teamed up with Trevor McNevan, frontman of Christian rock band Thousand Foot Krutch, for a new single tied to an upcoming Biblical film. "Walk Thru Fire," released September 4, is featured in Daniel and the Fiery Furnace, a movie retelling the Old Testament story of Daniel's three friends - Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego - who were thrown into a blazing furnace for refusing to worship a golden idol, and emerged unharmed.

The single is available now on Spotify and Apple Music, with an official music video set to release September 11. It leads the film's full soundtrack, also arriving September 18 - the same day Daniel and the Fiery Furnace opens exclusively in theaters.

McNevan, who has fronted Thousand Foot Krutch since the late 1990s, brings his rock background to the collaboration, while TobyMac - one of Christian music's most decorated artists and a pioneer of Christian hip hop - adds his own signature sound to the track. Together, the pairing gives the film's theme song a sound built for both longtime Christian rock fans and a wider crossover audience.

With its title drawn directly from the Biblical account of faith tested by fire, "Walk Thru Fire" continues a growing trend of original music written specifically for faith-based films - giving audiences a song to carry the story's message long after the credits roll.
