Avengers: Endgame is heading back to the big screen this Friday, September 25, 2026, and this time it's bringing something new: the first officially sanctioned footage from Avengers: Doomsday.
Marvel Studios confirmed the re-release, titled Avengers: Endgame: Encore, will include an exclusive preview of Doomsday for every audience, with an additional bonus look for moviegoers watching in IMAX or on the newly certified Infinity Vision premium large-format screens. The studio has not detailed exactly what the preview contains, but it marks the first Marvel-approved footage of the film to reach the public - a contrast to the unverified leaked clips and bootleg images that have circulated online in recent weeks.
The timing lines up with mounting anticipation for Doomsday, which reunites the Russo brothers as directors and stars Robert Downey Jr. as the villain Doctor Doom. The film opens in theaters December 18, 2026, with its follow-up, Avengers: Secret Wars, arriving December 17, 2027.
Tickets for Avengers: Endgame: Encore are now on sale at major theater chains nationwide.
