According to an announcement from his team, "Your Glory 2 C U" has reached No. 1 on the Billboard and Mediabase gospel airplay charts, becoming his seventh No. 1 radio single. The song appears on Pugh's album We Wanna See You and centers on a desire to experience God's glory. Pugh cowrote it with producer Rufus McGee, who has also worked on his songs "God Did It," "Keeper" and "Send Your Rain." Its worship focus recalls "Rain On Us," the 2009 hit that introduced many gospel listeners to Pugh's soaring ballad style.
Pugh says he sensed the song's potential at its live recording in San Antonio two years ago, particularly when he saw how worshipers responded to it through dance. Blacksmoke Music Worldwide CEO Kerry Douglas says he believed in the song from the time Pugh first sent it to him. Its reported rise to No. 1 gives that early confidence a public result, though Pugh has emphasized what the song is doing in worship settings beyond radio.
"Your Glory 2 C U" joins a list of Pugh chart leaders that includes "Rain On Us," "I Need Your Glory," "God Wants to Heal You," "Thank You So Much," "Don't Give Up" and "Right There," featuring LaSha Knox. The latest milestone follows his first Stellar Gospel Music Award in 2025 and a 2026 Stellar nomination connected with We Wanna See You.
Pugh has also released newer music, including the September single "Gotta Have." That makes the timing of this No. 1 especially striking: while he moves forward with another song, radio listeners are still responding to "Your Glory 2 C U." For an artist whose signature sound is closely tied to worship, the question now is how this song will live beyond its chart peak-in churches, performances and the voices of the people who sing along.
