Will Prince Harry and Meghan Meet King Charles Again Before Christmas? What Reports Say

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly scheduled to meet King Charles III before Christmas, according to royal sources cited by commentator Rob Shuter on Oct. 5. Queen Camilla is also expected to be present, but the exact date and location remain closely guarded. Buckingham Palace has not confirmed the plans.

Shuter's Substack reported that time has been set aside for Harry, 42, Meghan, 45, Charles, 77, and Camilla to meet again. One source described the plan as deliberate, saying "Nobody drops in on the king." Other insiders say both sides are determined to keep a "fragile reconciliation" moving in the right direction.

The reports follow a meeting that has been confirmed. Buckingham Palace said on Friday, July 10, that the King and Queen Camilla hosted Harry, Meghan and their two children at Highgrove House, the King's private country estate in Gloucestershire. It was the first time the King had seen his grandchildren in more than four years. Both sides agreed beforehand to keep the visit out of the public eye, with no photos or briefings. Earlier, in September 2025, Harry and Charles held a private tea at Clarence House, their first in-person meeting in 19 months.

Prince William was not part of the July reunion. The brothers did not see one another during that visit.

With Christmas approaching, a season many Christians associate with forgiveness and reconciliation, royal followers will be watching closely for any official word. Until the Palace or the family says more, the timing of any new meeting remains unconfirmed.
