Chad Lowe has returned to Instagram following the death of his 13-year-old daughter, Fiona, sharing a reflection on faith, spiritual connection and peace. The Emmy-winning actor reposted a podcast video to his Instagram Stories on Thursday, October 8, without adding a personal message.

The clip features author and speaker Gerry Hussey speaking on Olivia Hunt's On Healing podcast. In the June 2025 interview, Hussey discusses moving beyond everyday concerns through awareness and meditation, describing a spiritual connection he calls "Christ consciousness." "We both possess the human and the divine," he says.

Faith is central to the excerpt, but Lowe has not explained his reasons for sharing it or spoken directly about his own religious beliefs. His repost follows the family's earlier request for "prayers and privacy," giving the latest development a spiritual dimension while leaving his personal interpretation unstated.

Lowe and his wife, producer Kim Painter, announced Fiona's death on September 29. PEOPLE subsequently reported that the medical examiner ruled her death a suicide. Her parents remembered her intelligence, creativity and passion for dance, describing her as "the light of our lives." Fiona was their middle daughter, between Mabel, 17, and Nixie, 10.

Fiona's older sister has also shared her grief publicly. In an October 3 Instagram tribute featuring childhood photographs, Mabel expressed her love for Fiona and her determination to preserve their bond through memory. "I will honor you forever and keep your memory alive," she wrote.

The family's Los Angeles community has offered practical support. Page Six reported that families from Fiona's school proposed meal arrangements and fundraising, although the Lowes declined those offers and have kept details within a small private circle. The school has also contacted parents about support for students affected by the loss.

Lowe's latest post adds no further details about Fiona's death. Instead, he has shared someone else's words about spirituality as his family continues to mourn. Their public statement encourages anyone struggling with mental health to reach out for help.
