Rockstar Games has pulled back the curtain on the music of Grand Theft Auto VI, and the in-game radio stations come with some very big names.
On Thursday, Oct. 8, Rockstar announced the first six radio stations and put audio previews on the music page of the official GTA VI website. The first wave covers Latin, country, African music, metal, pop, and Southern hip-hop.
Who's hosting?
- Cocoteo FM (modern Latin): Bad Bunny and RaiNao
- Back Country Radio (outlaw country): Lana Del Rey and Morgan Wallen, with Del Rey's husband, Jeremy Dufrene, also on air as a roving reporter
- Flash FM (pop, returning from Vice City): Robyn and Alex Consani
Slayer's Kerry King and Tom Araya, Burna Boy, and Southern hip-hop artists Trick Daddy and Trina are also among the announced hosts.
Is this the full list? No. Rockstar's site also mentions classic rock and talk radio, so more stations are still to come. Rockstar says this is its biggest and widest-ranging selection of in-game radio and podcasts yet.
GTA VI is set to release on Nov. 19, according to Rolling Stone.
Grand Theft Auto games have carried mature ratings, so families should check the rating before buying.
