Barry Manilow has canceled his Las Vegas shows for Friday, October 9, and Saturday, October 10, after coming down with bronchitis, his representatives confirmed. The cancellations come just days after the 83-year-old returned to the stage.

Manilow returned to the International Theater at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino on Thursday, October 8, after a roughly six-week break. His representatives called it a "triumphant welcome-back concert." According to a Las Vegas entertainment blog, he left the stage after only a couple of songs on Friday, telling the crowd to "talk amongst yourselves." Saturday's performance was then canceled, and Westgate officials confirmed bronchitis as the reason.

Manilow revealed in December 2025 that he had been diagnosed with stage 1 lung cancer and underwent surgery to remove part of his left lung. He returned to performing this year, including U.K. dates in April and a return to Westgate in July.

His representatives haven't said whether future shows are affected. Fans with tickets should check the Westgate website or contact the box office for the latest schedule and refund details.

No details beyond bronchitis have been given, and neither Manilow nor his team has said when he will return.
