Ella Langley has earned her sixth No. 1 on Billboard's Country Airplay chart. "Loving Life Again" moved up one spot to the top of the chart. The song reached No. 1 on the chart dated Oct. 31. It drew 32.4 million audience impressions from Oct. 16 to 22, up 7 percent, according to Luminate.
The milestone is a record. Langley went from her first Country Airplay No. 1 to her sixth faster than any other woman, or act with a woman vocalist, in the chart's 36-year history. It is also the fourth No. 1 from her album Dandelion, after "Choosin' Texas," "Be Her," and "I Can't Love You Anymore" with Morgan Wallen. That makes Dandelion just the third album by a woman, or an act with a woman vocalist, to send four titles to the top. It also passes the three-No. 1 totals from Carrie Underwood's Some Hearts and Shania Twain's Come On Over.
The song has a personal backstory. Langley co-wrote it with ERNEST and Devin Dawson after taking two weeks away from touring in 2025 to reconnect with family. She has said that time also brought her back to her faith. She has told concert crowds she now leans on God through hard seasons, and that if you improve a little each day, you'll be "loving life again."
The Alabama native grew up in Southern Baptist churches and has been open about her faith this year. At the ACM Awards she said, "Thank you, Jesus, for letting me do this for a living." Another song on Dandelion, "Speaking Terms," reflects her journey back to God.
The success continues beyond radio. "Choosin' Texas" became the first song to spend 24 weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 at the end of September.
