Christian artist Robert Hawkins has released "We Coming Up," a new collaboration with The Recovery Gathering Band featuring Myammee and EMCEE N.I.C.E. The single blends urban music, R&B, rap, and gospel into a message of faith, perseverance, and hope during difficult seasons.

The release serves as the final single ahead of Hawkins' upcoming full-length album, The Recovery Journey Project, scheduled to arrive November 6, 2026.

One of Hawkins' most musically diverse releases yet, "We Coming Up" combines choir-led call-and-response with rap verses to deliver an encouraging message about trusting God through depression, uncertainty, and personal struggles. The collaboration brings together different musical styles while emphasizing the strength believers can find in God's presence.

The song begins by acknowledging how difficult it can be to find encouragement when life feels overwhelming. Hawkins describes the frustration of struggling to move forward without being able to see a way through. Rather than dismissing those feelings, the track recognizes the reality of discouragement before pointing listeners toward renewed hope.

Myammee contributes a verse centered on God's grace and the importance of placing worries in His hands. EMCEE N.I.C.E. addresses emptiness, setbacks, and destructive choices, ultimately pointing toward the freedom and fresh direction found in God's mercy.

The transition from an individual voice in the opening verse to the collective declaration of "We Coming Up" in the chorus gives the song its communal spirit. Its message reminds listeners that even amid difficult circumstances, they are not alone and can continue moving forward in faith.
