Savannah Chrisley is responding to criticism surrounding her pregnancy and engagement with a message directed at the person at the center of her new chapter: her unborn child.
Sharing ultrasound footage on Instagram Stories on October 27, the Chrisley Knows Best alum addressed her baby directly.
"You are not a headline. You are not a controversy," she wrote, saying her child should never be defined by anyone else's past or mistakes.
The emotional post came after Chrisley, 29, announced that she is expecting her first child with fiancé Jason Galanis, 56. Their announcement drew scrutiny over both their 27-year age difference and Galanis's criminal history. The businessman previously served time in federal prison for fraud before President Donald Trump commuted his sentence in March 2025.
Chrisley's response centered on her joy at becoming a mother. Describing her baby as innocent, deeply loved and a blessing entrusted to the couple by God, she said the criticism would not overshadow her pregnancy.
"You are my answered prayer. And I will never apologize for celebrating you," she added.
On her Unlocked podcast, Chrisley also defended her relationship, explaining that she had kept details private because she anticipated a harsh public response. She described Galanis as her best friend and spoke about their shared hopes for the future.
The couple began dating in July 2025 and became engaged that December, according to Chrisley. Their wedding, initially planned for January 2027, has been moved to May following the pregnancy news.
