Ainsley Earhardt is embracing her new married name-but Fox & Friends viewers will still know her as Ainsley Earhardt.
Following her October 24 wedding to Sean Hannity, the Fox News host revealed that she plans to use her husband's surname in her personal life while retaining her established name professionally. Speaking on the October 27 broadcast, she said she had already begun signing messages to well-wishers "Love, Mrs. Hannity."
Her explanation for keeping Earhardt on television came with a joke: "there's only room for one Hannity" at Fox. The decision allows her to celebrate her marriage while maintaining the identity viewers recognise from her broadcasting career. She presented it as a personal choice, with no indication that the network had required it.
The newlywed also offered a more personal glimpse into her commitment to Hannity.
"I am so proud to be his bride and I want to love him and serve him all the days of my life," she said. Earhardt praised her husband's generosity and kindness while describing her happiness at beginning their marriage.
Her comments shifted attention from the wedding's prominent guests to what the occasion meant to her. She described the gathering of relatives, friends, and colleagues as particularly special, bringing many of the people closest to the couple into one room. Their reception took place at the Everglades Club in Palm Beach.
Earhardt and Hannity exchanged vows at the Church of Bethesda-by-the-Sea, returning to the location of their December 2024 engagement. In their joint wedding statement, they emphasised their Christian faith and expressed gratitude for celebrating with their children, families, and friends.
The marriage also brings together their existing families. Hannity has two children from his previous marriage to Jill Rhodes, while Earhardt shares a daughter with former husband Will Proctor. Their children's presence formed an important part of the couple's description of the celebration.
For viewers, the most visible change may therefore happen away from the screen. Earhardt's announcement draws a practical distinction between the name associated with her public career and the one she is choosing for her married life.
Her remarks offer a fresh glimpse of the newlyweds' first days together: a familiar television identity continuing alongside a personal name she is already delighted to use.
