Franklin Graham is looking at the future through the lens of biblical prophecy-and looking back at the deeply personal warning that changed his own future.

In a wide-ranging conversation on Hang Out with Sean Hannity, Graham discusses artificial intelligence, the Book of Revelation, heaven and hell, and life as Billy Graham's son. Amid those sweeping subjects, he returns to a message that runs through his testimony: a famous name, humanitarian service, and religious familiarity cannot replace a personal response to Jesus Christ.

Released October 16, the interview brings together Graham's concerns about a changing world and intimate memories of the father whose preaching reached millions-but whose private words to his son proved especially consequential.

Asked whether he believes the end times are at hand, Graham answers directly.

"Yes. No question. I believe it."

Hannity presses him, noting that the apostles also anticipated Christ's return. Graham responds by pointing to technologies he believes could enable the kind of centralized control he associates with Revelation.

He links artificial intelligence, powerful computers, and global interconnectedness to his interpretation of a future system governing people's ability to buy and sell. These are Graham's theological interpretations of technological developments; the conversation does not establish that AI fulfills biblical prophecy or identify a date for Christ's return.

"There is going to be a one world system," Graham tells Hannity. "There is going to be the antichrist."

Yet some of the interview's most compelling moments concern a much smaller setting: a father and son walking beside Lake Geneva.

Recalling a birthday visit when he was turning 22, Graham describes sharing pizza with his father before the two went for a walk. Billy Graham began by assuring his son that he was loved and would always be welcome home.

Then came the words Franklin could not shake.

"Your mother and I sense that there's a battle for the soul of your life, and you're going to have to make a choice either to accept Christ or to reject him," he recalls his father saying.

Franklin's immediate response was anger, although he concealed it.

"I knew he was right," he tells Hannity.

About a week later, Graham says, he acknowledged the disorder in his life and turned to God in prayer. The decision marked a change that his upbringing alone had never produced.

"It's just a life that's not surrendered to God," he says, explaining the problem he had faced. "That's where I was."

His memories of Billy Graham also reveal the enduring tenderness beneath the public legacy. Franklin says he still listens to his father's sermons online, hearing familiar messages with fresh appreciation and wishing he had listened more carefully when his father was alive.

"With YouTube, I can watch my father every day and I can hear his voice," he says.

The conversation also explores forgiveness, prison ministry, suffering, and Samaritan's Purse's humanitarian work. Through those subjects, Graham repeatedly directs attention to the Christian message of grace.

That emphasis becomes especially clear near the interview's conclusion, when Hannity praises Graham's good works and expresses confidence that he will be in heaven.

Graham immediately redirects the conversation.

"I'm not going to be in heaven because I'm good," he says.

Instead, he returns to the prayer he offered at 22, when he asked for forgiveness and entrusted his life to Christ.

For all the interview's warnings about the future, its most personal appeal emerges from that memory: the evangelist who speaks to the world still remembers being a young man who needed to respond to the gospel himself.
