God of War IV Release Date, Spoilers, Reveals and Plot: Release Date have been Rumored Since 2011 up to Date has not yet been Released
The game will be a 4th person action video game that is being developed by the one and only studio the Santa Monica Studio and published by Sony Computer Entertainment (SCE). This will be its 8th instalment in the God of War series and prequel to the entire series.
It has however surfaced with some new rumors of the God of War franchise. A UK gaming magazine PSM3 has some new details about the GOW IV that it could possibly feature an online multiplayer co-op in the form of plot line which involves Kratos and his brother Deimos trying to attempt to escape the afterlife. In the article PSM3 also hinted that it might actually be in development as of right now, so it might be coming sooner than later
Rumors regarding the potential development of a GOW IV sequel did actually surface around late 2010 and around that time a rumor surfaced that it might be coming on September 28, 2012 which did not happen. In regards to the unannounced title that piled up with the emergence of a job listing by Sony Santa Monica seeking a senior staff concept artist for a project called God of War (GOW).
UK gaming Magazine PSM3 also had previously rumored about the God of War IV existence around May 2011 which came from an anonymous source that also said that it might also be a multiplayer online game and also a 2012 release date. The developers are taking their time to develop a similar gameplay to the other God of Wars. It will be based on a PlayStation platforms. It will be a Hack and Slash, action adventure in terms of genre, more fun, different intensity and most definitely worth waiting for.
